TechyWomen is an email community of women, formed to promote the interests of women in technology fields. The list has been created to provide a platform for women in technology to network with each other and support each other. Using TechyWomen
To post a message to all the list members, send email to techywomen@lists.fat-net.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to TechyWomen
Subscribe to TechyWomen by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Before subscribing, please read the terms and conditions carefully. Terms and Conditions: 1. This is a women only list. 2. You are required to send a small essay on yourself to the moderator before the moderator approves your membership. The moderator will send you an email asking for it after she receives your subscription request. 3. This list is for and about women in science, engineering and technology. Please keep all conversations related to women and science, engineering and technology. 4. Always keep your mails polite and respectful. Do not use any language that might offend others. 5. This list is mainly for women in India and its neighboring countries. Women from other regions are welcome, but the discussions in the list will remain specific to women in these regions. Your email address:   Your name:   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
